Millers seal first summer signing...

Rotherham United are delighted to announce the arrival of defender Clark Robertson, who has signed a three year deal at AESSEAL New York Stadium to become Paul Warne’s first signing of the summer window, subject to FA and EFL ratification.

The 24-year-old centre back represented Blackpool last season and featured in both Sky Bet League One games against the Millers, making a total of 40 appearances for the Seasiders in the 2017/18 campaign.

Robertson’s move to South Yorkshire signals the end of a three year stay on the Fylde coast which included him playing an integral role in Gary Bowyer’s side’s promotion to the third tier via the League Two Play-offs.

The Scotsman can also call upon experience from his hometown club Aberdeen, where he began his professional career, making his senior bow as a substitute against Hamilton in May 2010.

His CV also boasts international recognition for his native Scotland up to Under 21 level.

Clark will join up with his new Millers teammates when they return to training on Monday.
