Zak Vyner joins Rotherham United on loan...

Rotherham United have secured their third signing of the summer, with Zak Vyner joining the club on loan from Bristol City until 5th May 2019, subject to FA and EFL ratification.

The 21-year-old defender arrives in time to link up with Paul Warne’s side as they return to training this morning and will join fellow summer additions Clark Robertson, Kyle Vassell and the rest of the Rotherham United squad at Roundwood.

Vyner progressed through the youth ranks at Ashton Gate before making his senior debut for the Robins in 2016. He enjoyed a loan switch to Accrington Stanley in the 2016/17 season as he attempted to further his footballing education, returning to his parent club in January of the same season.

A season later, the London-born defender was on the move again as he joined Plymouth Argyle in another temporary switch. He made 17 appearances for the Pilgrims becoming a key component in their rearguard as they made a late push for the Sky Bet League One Play-offs, picking up the club’s Young Player of the Year award for his contribution.
