After making his debut against Birmingham City in 2015, the 21-year-old has made steady progress in recent seasons which culminated in playing a pivotal role as the Millers returned to The Championship.

“Jerry is at age, and at a stage in his career, when he needs to be playing regularly to further help his development,” boss Paul Warne told www.themillers.co.uk

“He goes to Carlisle where there is an opportunity at a good club, at a good level, to get some games under his belt.

“After speaking to Shez (John Sheridan, Carlisle manager) I know he will get an opportunity there, and hopefully he can get some goals and some sharpness to take him onto the next step.

“All the staff have great faith in Jerry, and we will be keeping a close eye on his progress.”
