Rotherham United’s scheduled pre-season friendly against Grimsby Town on Friday 20th July has been cancelled following advice from South Yorkshire Police.
The Millers were set to host the Mariners at AESSEAL New York Stadium ahead of the 2018/19 season but have cancelled the friendly, after receiving information from South Yorkshire Police that they do not have adequate personnel available to staff the fixture.
