RUCST | Trust welcomes new Premier League Girls Coach

Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are delighted to welcome Molly Johnson to the team as Women’s and Girls’ Coach.

Starting her playing career at the age of 6, Molly has played for a number of teams such as Doncaster Rover Belles in the Women’s Super League, whilst also representing England U15s on numerous occasions.  

Molly is currently studying Sports Development and Coaching at Sheffield Hallam University and has a vast background in coaching Women’s and Girls’ football, with previous employers including Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United and Arches School Sports Partnership.

“I am delighted to join Rotherham United Community Sports Trust, I am really passionate about developing women’s and girls football in Rotherham. I hope to become a role model in the local community and inspire others to follow a similar pathway to mine. Football has given me some incredible experiences and opportunities so far in my career and I am really keen to work with as many local partners as possible so please get in touch” added Johnson.

Gary Webb, Operations Manager for Rotherham United Community Sports Trust said “Molly will be a brilliant addition to the staffing team here at the Trust, I know she will make a huge impact across the Borough and inspire women and girls of all ages. Molly has a brilliant playing and coaching pedigree and is a real coup, I and everyone else at the club wish her the best of luck in her new role.”
