Paul Warne talks to www.themillers.co.uk..

Rotherham United boss Paul Warne admits he is looking forward to the prospect of being reunited with a few friendly faces as his side travel to Oldham Athletic this weekend, where he will be looking to maintain the run of form that earned him the December Manager of the Month award.

The Millers boss, who represented the Latics during his playing career, is well-aware of his opposite number in the home dugout this weekend, having played with Oldham boss Richie Wellens whilst both were players at Boundary Park.

The January loan capture of former Millers midfielder Ben Pringle means Warne is also likely to see another familiar face in this weekend’s League One clash, where he expects a tough test from a revitalised Latics side.

“A few of the players they had on loan went back so they are obviously trying to re-strengthen,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.

“Richie went to watch them at Charlton at the weekend and I think they have called a few of their own players back who they had sent out on loan.

“Obviously Prings is there and it'll be nice to see him but it'll be nice to see him if we've won after the game. He hasn't played football for a while so he'll be really pleased to get back into first team action.

“I played with Rich [Wellens], he was a great footballer and he played at Donny for a few years. He was a really good footballer, a great footballing bloke and it's a great club. I really enjoyed my time there so I'll enjoy taking my mighty Millers over the hill for Saturday.”
