Rotherham United’s U15s host Manchester City at Roundwood on Wednesday night in the Floodlit Cup.
The Millers take on the Citizens in a 7:30pm kick off on the top pitch at the club’s training base with entry free to supporters.
Rotherham United Lead Youth Development Phase Coach Stephen Mundell says he is looking forward to welcoming the prestigious Academy, for what he anticipates will be a tough challenge for the club’s youngsters.
“This fixture is a great opportunity for our lads to test themselves against a top Academy in Manchester City,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.
“The Floodlit Cup is a different test for the young lads and allows us to pit our wits against teams that we wouldn’t normally come up against.
“It would be great to see plenty of Millers fans in attendance supporting what is a great group of youngsters.”
