Millers to pay respect to lost loved ones...

Rotherham United will pay tribute to Millers supporters, players and staff who have sadly passed away during the past 12 months at around 2.50pm at this Saturday’s game with Portsmouth.

The club asked supporters to send in names of friends and family for a special tribute on the big screen, whilst the names will also be recorded in the matchday programme to honour the lives of our fellow Millers.

We are encouraging supporters to arrive at the ground early to ensure that they do not miss the honours reel on the big screen, which is set to take place around 10 minutes before kick off on Saturday.

We would like to invite supporters to join us in honouring those beloved Millers no longer with us by applauding as the screen reveals the names of our loved ones ahead of kick off on Saturday.

The club were deeply saddened to learn of the news of the passing of two of our former players recently.

As a mark of respect, we will also ask supporters to join us in a minute’s applause prior to kick off in memory of John McGlashan and Rodney Fern. We will also pay tribute to Cyrille Regis at this time.

Once a Miller, always a Miller.
