Rotherham United are delighted to be supporting the fundraising efforts of platinum partner Hornbuckle employees Paul Mason, Sam Wain and James Waterlow, who are donning their walking boots in an attempt to raise funds for the Bodie Hodges Foundation.
The trio have set themselves the task of taking on the “£250 challenge” which involves turning that sum into as much as possible by the end of January 2018, with their main fundraising effort coming at next Saturday’s home game with Portsmouth.
17th and concluding here in Rotherham ahead of kick off.
The Millers are delighted to be supporting their efforts and we are looking forward to welcoming them in time to take a deserved seat and put their feet up at our home game with Portsmouth.
Paul Mason, who has been a key figure in the fundraising efforts, explained that he is looking forward to the challenge ahead of the game on 20th January:
“We are really looking forward to lacing up our walking boots for what we know will be a really tough task walking from our base in Leicester to Rotherham.
“We are looking to raise as much as we can for this great cause and to raise much needed awareness for the charity and organ donation. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and the team and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities.
“Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support, and thank you for any donations made.”
