RUCST | Millers backing Safer Internet Day 2018

1 February 2018

Rotherham United has added its support to a global awareness campaign and is encouraging fans to ‘Create, Connect and Share Respect’ to help make the internet a better place this Safer Internet Day.

On Tuesday 6th February 2018, millions across the UK and globally will be celebrating Safer Internet Day and Rotherham United has pledged its support along with hundreds of schools and organisations across the UK.

Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, the day is a great opportunity to talk to your family and friends about the responsible, respectful, critical and creative use of technology, and to remember that ‘a better internet starts with you’.

The campaign will kick off on Saturday 3 February where Rotherham United Community Sports Trust in partnership with The Anti-Bullying Company will have a Safer Internet Day photo booth with games, quizzes and photo opportunities. The activities will start our social media campaign that will extend into our work supporting the campaign in schools on Tuesday 6 February.

Visit the UK Safer Internet Centre website ( where you can take the Safer Internet Day quiz, see what’s happening on the day, and find out more about what you can do to help your friends and family to stay safe online.

Together we can create a better internet
