Rotherham United were recently delighted to welcome John Stancomb to the AESSEAL New York Stadium for our game with AFC Wimbledon.
John made the visit for the first time to include the Millers as part of the 1700 grounds he has visited in 46 years of following football.
After losing his sight in 2006, John has continued to attend games all over the country with his helper explaining the intricacies of his chosen venue.
The Millers were delighted to welcome John, pictured with Jamie Proctor, last weekend as part of our matchday Random Act of Kindness, and he was treated to some behind the scenes access, as well as a seat in the press box which included commentary of the game through our iFollow Millers service.
The Millers randomly select supporters at our home games where we offer free behind the scenes access to Rotherham United or offer lucky supporters the chance to meet some of their heroes.
