Doncaster game selected for NCS Takeover Day...

Rotherham United’s South Yorkshire derby showdown with Doncaster Rovers this Saturday has been designated as the club’s NCS Takeover Day.

The National Citizen Service programme, which is delivered by the Rotherham United Community Sports Trust, provides youngsters between aged 15 and 17 with a number of unique challenges and experiences and is designed to help build skills for work and life during the course.

The Millers will welcome NCS staff to AESSEAL New York Stadium from 11:30am, where there will be a number of activities taking place prior to this weekend’s sold-out League One clash.

You may notice staff and NCS graduates around the grounds of the stadium handing out information on how to get involved, while members of the Rotherham United first team will proudly display the NCS branding on t-shirts during the pre-match warm-up.

The big screen will play a promotional video for the NCS scheme at half time, while our announcer will read out information about the programme.

The NCS banners will greet the teams as they emerge from the tunnel before kick off at Saturday’s game and will also make an appearance pitchside at the interval as the G4S Trophy takes place.

Other information, including magazines, concourse posters and flyers will be available to view around the stadium on Saturday.
