READ | Frecklington nominated for PFA Player in the Community 2018!

Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are pleased to announce Lee Frecklington has been nominated for the prestigious PFA Player in the Community 2018 as part of the EFL Awards.

Lee has always gone above and beyond for the community of Rotherham during his time at the club, and it’s only right that he is nominated for the award. Throughout the year Lee has been involved in every aspect of the Community Trust, whether its out at holiday camps, or helping the NCS team with promotional videos and recruitment.

Jamie Noble, Head of Community said: “Lee is not only a credit to the first team, but also an inspiration to the community of Rotherham. Every year he goes above and beyond and can never do enough to help us. Everyone at the trust, and the club would like to thank Lee for his efforts both on and off the pitch.”

The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) was formed on 2nd December 1907 and is the world’s longest established professional sportsperson’s union. The aims of the PFA are to protect, improve and negotiate the conditions, rights and status of all professional players by collective bargaining agreements.
