Richie meets Rotherham Town JFC youngsters...
Rotherham United were delighted to involve historic grassroots football team Rotherham Town JFC in their Random Act of Kindness scheme, which saw them treated to an afternoon to remember at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
Members of the local club were on hand to watch a Millers game but were given a surprise when they were introduced to midfielder Richie Towell, who took time out to chat to the youngsters about life as a professional footballer at Rotherham United.
The VIP treatment didn’t end there though as the youngsters were given a behind-the-scenes tour which included pitchside access and the opportunity to sit in the home dugout, before the children in attendance took up their seats for the game.
