Rotherham United players have continued their outstanding commitment the local community.

The players have been out in force again this summer at our Future Stars Holiday camps, giving the children a chance to meet their local heroes. The Millers had a busy schedule in pre-season and are now fully focused on performing in the Sky Bet Championship however this has not stopped them from visiting fans across the town in their down time.

Fan favourites Richard Wood & Joe Mattock are among some of the players who have been to the holiday camps, whilst other members of the first team are scheduled for visits throughout August and September, attending visits such as the Education induction day for our BTEC courses at the stadium, and local primary schools in relation to our Premier League Primary Stars, Premier League Girls & Premier League Kicks programmes.

Jamie Noble, Head of Community Said “We are privileged to have such a great bunch of players, the chemistry they have on and off the pitch is outstanding. I believe they all understand the role they have to play within the community and their level of commitment has been second to none. Regardless of the time, they are happy to help and support at the drop of a hat, they are a credit the club and the town.”
