Bickerton Skoda sign a new deal with Rotherham United...

Rotherham United are delighted to have signed a new deal with Bickerton Skoda, who join the growing list of business partners at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

The local car dealership, who have been one of the club’s commercial partners over the last few years, have penned a new agreement with the Millers for the new 2018/19 season.

As part of the deal, Corporate Sales Manager Paul Fox and his staff will supply company cars to assistant manager Richie Barker and goalkeeping coach Mike Pollitt, with a number of other first team and administrational staff also driving the distinctive white and red Skodas provided by Bickerton.

Paul was on hand on Tuesday afternoon to hand over the keys to Richie and Mike for their new cars, with Head of Commercial Mark Hitchens also present to sign the relevant paperwork.

“We’re delighted that another long-time supporter of the club have committed their future to us, meaning we can continue our fantastic working relationship,” Hitchens told www.themillers.co.uk.

“Bickerton have a brilliant reputation in the local area and we are thrilled to once again be working closely with them. The staff we have currently driving company vehicles have spoken incredibly highly of the cars supplied by Paul and his staff and the feedback we have had from Richie and Mike has been equally positive.

“I have personally driven a number of the motors supplied by Bickerton and they have all been quite simply a stunningly smooth drive and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new vehicle.”

Paul Fox, Corporate Sales Manager at Bickerton Skoda echoed those sentiments, placing on record his delight at the opportunity to build on the existing commercial relationship as the club gears up for another season in the second tier.

“We are really pleased to renew our sponsorship and become a business partner with Rotherham United,” he enthused.

“We have always really enjoyed working with Mark and the rest of the staff at the club and we are delighted to be on board in what are exciting times for the club as we move into the new Championship season.”
