Danny is a student who is completing a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport at RUCST and throughout his study with us he has presented a range of skills and knowledge which has supported him in becoming a respectful, polite and bright individual. Danny has become involved in a number of activities, projects and events that have been delivered by the Great Millers Youth Forum, showing willingness, knowledge and commitment. He is an individual who will help and support others. Danny is a person that you can rely on and trust to complete tasks when required and also presents his own ideas and potential opportunities that can be achieved which shows determination.

Danny is passionate about supporting other people in the wider community and through funding secured by the youth forum from the South Yorkshire, Police and Crime Commissioner he worked with other youth forum members to create a Facebook page that raises awards of hate crime amongst young people, what hate crime is, and how to report it. The Facebook page draws attention through short film clips the fact that banter can actually be a hate crime when directed at someone because of race, religion, disability, sexuality or transgender identity.
