Rotherham United Community Sports Trust (RUCST) are pleased to announce the home fixture at the AESSEAL New York Stadium against Fleetwood Town this Saturday will be the Community Takeover Day.
The Trust have previously been involved with match day events such as the open training session and the NCS takeover day.
RUCST will be showcasing the work we do in the local community along with introducing performances and artists around the stadium to give a family fun atmosphere.
The Trust, which works in partnership with Rotherham United FC, is a community development programme that works across the borough of Rotherham in deprived areas with different communities and age groups, delivering under the three main themes of the EFL Trust: Education, Health & Wellbeing, Inclusion and Sport Participation.
Jamie Noble, Head of Community said: “We are delighted to host the community day on 7th of April. It’s a great opportunity for our team to showcase the fantastic work they deliver to the local community.
