Darren Potter becomes Millers' second signing of the summer...
Rotherham United are delighted to confirm that midfielder Darren Potter has penned a two-year deal and will become the club’s second signing of the summer, subject to EFL and FA ratification.
The Liverpool-born operator arrives at AESSEAL New York Stadium from Milton Keynes Dons, where he made in excess of 200 appearances over a six-year spell.
Potter’s previous clubs also include the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Wolverhampton Wanderers, after he progressed through the youth ranks at Liverpool, where he made two senior appearances.
The 32-year-old is also a fully-fledged Republic of Ireland international, making his debut in a friendly against Ecuador in 2007.
Potter follows Michael Ihiekwe in arriving at AESSEAL New York Stadium this summer, as Paul Warne continues to strengthen his pack ahead of the 2017/18 season.
