Rotherham United are often approached by people in the community looking to raise money for PACT (Parents And Children Together).

Founded in 1977, the charity has done fantastic work to help support the families of children with cancer over many years.

The charity offers support to every family who is referred to the Oncology Unit at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, which is the main local children’s hospital in the area.

This means that the good work that PACT does benefits people from Sheffield, Rotherham and a whole host of other towns in the region.

The Trust was recently contacted by Claire Mylett and Bethany Dunning, who both held fundraisers to ensure that their good work can continue.

Claire arranged a Christmas raffle to help raise vital funds whilst Bethany, who works for Lloyds Banking Group is set to hold a Charity Day on the 26th January which will see staff don pyjamas, onesies and other casual clothes with a bake sale and raffle also taking place on the day.

What a brilliant effort by both!
