Random Act of Kindness versus Burton Albion...
Rotherham United were delighted to surprise one lucky young supporter with a mascot package for our Random Act of Kindness at the game against Burton Albion.Thomas was selected from the crowd by Miller Bear at AESSEAL New York Stadium where he was attending the game with his dad, to join the warm-up for a kickabout before the clash with the Brewers on 29th December.
Having donned the famous red and white he joined the two teams in the tunnel before leading them out to a nearly 10,000-strong crowd ahead of the Sky Bet Championship showdown.
Head of Community Jamie Noble was once again delighted to make it a memorable match for the young fan and expressed his pride at another succesful Random Act.
"As I have said in the past, it is great to see our young supporters enjoying the matchday experience here at AESSEAL New York Stadium because they are the future of the football club," he told www.themillers.co.uk.
"Thomas' face lit up when Miller Bear picked him out of the crowd and I hope he enjoyed the day enough to keep coming back for many years to come as a supporter."
