Greg Halford joins Cardiff City...

Greg Halford has joined Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee.

The versatile operator has joined the Welsh club after signing an 18 month contract.

The former Nottingham Forest and Sunderland player signed for the Millers in July 2015, and made 38 appearances in all competitions for the Millers, scoring three goals.

“We would like to wish Greg the very best with the move,” Interim manager Paul Warne told www.themillers.co.uk

“He has been really helpful behind the scenes when he was injured recently, but Cardiff came in and it was an offer which made sense.

“I spoke to him last night; we said we would stay in touch and I will keep an eye on his career. We wish him well for the future.”

Meanwhile, Cardiff have agreed that Tom Adeyemi will not be recalled and will stay with the Millers until the end of the season.

The midfielder has also been given permission to play in the FA Cup.
