Millers’ supporters Jodie Maher and fiancé Jordan Michael are hosting a fundraiser on Saturday 4th March 2017 in aid of the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.

Their efforts to raise money will include a multi gender and age orientated raffle, bingo and also various games on the night.

The event will be held at the Shiregreen Working Mens Club on Shiregreen Lane, Sheffield at 19:00hours until late with everyone welcome and a buffet provided.

The Millers’ supporting pair are showing their gratitude to the charity following their involvement with their daughter Aria Carol Michael who was born with Congenital Heart Defects on 10th July 2016.

Aria spent her first month of her life in Leeds General Infirmary Hospital, mainly in the Children’s Leeds Congenital Heart Unit. Aria underwent several treatments at only weeks old, to reconstruct these heart defects which included two operations. The second operation happened as an outpatient after her hospital stay and she may need further surgery in the future.

During her hospital stay, the Children Heart Surgery Fund made things easier on Aria her parents as they provided support, care and comfort to all, along with providing the couple accommodation so that they could be close to their daughter throughout the difficult time.

For their fantastic work, the charity is incredibly close to the hearts of Jodie and Jordan and their work with sick children makes such a trying time, that bit easier.

In addition the fundraising event, the couple are aiming to raise as much money as they can for the charity so that they can continue their amazing work. They have received numerous fantastic donated prizes in order to fundraise for this fantastic cause.

Jodie and Jordan would like to wholeheartedly thank all the companies, businesses and football clubs that have donated to the cause, especially Rotherham United Football Club.

The couple would like to thank supporters in advance for taking a moment to read their story and look forward to meeting those of you that attend their fundraising night.
