RUCST’s Happy New Year, Happy New You programme has proved extremely popular with all 15 places being taken within days of the project going live. Due to high demand we have added a second project which will run on Tuesday evenings. Again all spaces were taken within a couple of days and we are now taking names for our waiting list whilst we look at future projects.
The Happy New Year, Happy New You project consists of 12 weeks of taster exercise sessions to help participants find activities they may want to get involved in longer term. Alongside this each participant will be provided with nutrition advice over the 12 week period and the opportunity to have measurements taken of Weight, BMI, Body fat, Waist to hip ratio and Fitness at the start and end of the project.
The team at RUCST are very excited to welcome our 30 participants onto the project as well as student Megan Smith from Sheffield Hallam University who will be assisting with the nutrition.
