Five of the current top six in the Sky Bet Championship have been selected to appear live on Sky Sports in the latest round of confirmed TV fixtures for two weekends in January and February.

Bristol City’s visit to Derby County is up first with two in-form teams going head-to-head in a Friday night fixture at Pride Park on the 19 January.

Sheffield Wednesday will then host a familiar face on Saturday 20 January, as former rival manager Neil Warnock returns to the Steel City with his current team Cardiff City in a 5.30pm kick-off.

Lee Johnson’s Bristol City then feature for a second time, with their visit to Bolton Wanderers on Friday 2 February selected for live broadcast at 8pm before current leaders Wolves host Sheffield United at Molineux on Saturday 3 February.

Further TV selections for February will be announced in due course.

The list of games selected for live coverage are as follows:

Friday 19 January Derby County v Bristol City 7.45pm
Saturday 20 January Sheffield Wednesday v Cardiff City 5.30pm

Friday 2 February Bolton Wanderers v Bristol City 8.00pm
Saturday 3 February Wolverhampton Wanderers v Sheffield United 5.30pm

Throughout the course of the 2017/18 season, Sky Sports will exclusively show 127 live matches from the Sky Bet EFL season - including the Play-Offs - as well as 15 matches from the Carabao Cup and at least three from the Checkatrade Trophy.
