Paul Warne talks to www.themillers.co.uk...

Rotherham United boss Paul Warne says his side are well-prepared for this weekend’s trip to Bloomfield Road to face Gary Bowyer’s Blackpool in the Sky Bet League One.

A contingent of at least 900 Millers will follow their team to the west coast for this weekend’s third tier clash with Warne keen to ensure his side emerge victorious and leapfrog Saturday’s opposition in the table in the process.

“I appreciate it will be a difficult game for us but they all are in this league so hopefully we can get a win and shoot up the table,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.

“They're not dissimilar to a lot of teams in this league in that they win one, lose one and then draw one.

“If you catch them on their day, they're a formidable side so we're more than prepared for whatever they throw at us.”

The Millers boss admits he has been impressed by what he has seen from Bowyer’s side in recent weeks and believes they were unlucky not to have recorded victory over an ever-improving Blackburn Rovers side.

“I think all the teams in this league can beat anyone on their day,” Warne continued.

“When we went and watched them last week they lost 4-2 at home to Blackburn but in fairness to Blackpool, they were the better team for 50 minutes of the game and they could have comfortably been leading without some great defending and a couple of good saves from the Blackburn keeper.

“I'm well-aware of their strengths and they're really good going forward. They like to play and they like to play out from the back which makes me believe that the pitch will be in good nick for that.

“They do play good football and I really like their manager, I think he's a great bloke.”
