Random Act of Kindness v MK Dons...

Rotherham United were delighted to help Millers supporter Dean Poole celebrate a milestone birthday at our home game with MK Dons as part of our Random Act of Kindness.

Millers mad Dean joined us at AESSEAL New York Stadium as part of his 50th birthday celebrations where he was met by injured striker Jamie Proctor, who presented him with a card to mark the occasion.

The Kimberworth-based supporter may be a familiar face to Millers fans on the terraces having followed the club home and away regularly for a number of years and Rotherham United’s Head of Community Jamie Noble expressed his delight at the club being able to help mark the milestone occasion.

“We were contacted by some of Dean’s work colleagues prior to the game, who told us about his upcoming birthday and we were only too happy to get involved,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.

“We thought the occasion more than merited a card signed by the lads and the injured Jamie Proctor was quick to volunteer to hand deliver it before the game.

“It was great to see the smile on Dean’s face upon receiving the card and chatting with Jamie and we hope that we helped to make your big day that little bit more memorable.”
