Rotherham United are set to host Bolton Wanderers at AESSEAL New York Stadium as the two clubs’ Academy teams meet at AESSEAL New York Stadium on Monday 8th May.

The Millers youngsters welcome the Trotters following the final game of the first team campaign, with entry free to supporters for a 7pm kick off.

Rotherham United’s Academy have enjoyed one of their best seasons in recent history and are currently second in the Youth Alliance League, having beaten Lincoln City 3-0 in their last outing at the weekend.

The match will allow the club to showcase the talents of the next generation and are encouraging supporters to come down and support them at the first team stadium free of charge.

Academy manager Garreth Barker explained that he was delighted at the opportunity to once again take on Bolton at AESSEAL New York Stadium and provide his players with an insight into the first team environment.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for these young lads to play at the first team stadium and get a taste for what it is that they are striving to achieve,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.

“These fixtures have been brilliant for us in the past and we are thrilled that Bolton have once again accepted our offer to play this game.

“We have received a lot of support from the Millers’ fans throughout the course of the season at our games at Roundwood and it would be excellent to see you all down here at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

“We have had a really positive season with our involvement in both the Youth Alliance League and Central League fixtures and this game will provide these lads with a good platform to perform in the public eye."
