Rotherham United are delighted to announce that they have agreed an extension with Hodge Clemco who will continue as the club’s official home shirt sponsor until the end of the 2018/19 campaign.

The Millers affiliation with Hodge Clemco Ltd, whose UK Head Quarters are based in South Yorkshire, began during last season when they became an official business partner, before significantly furthering that relationship by securing the front of home shirt sponsorship for the club’s traditional red and white kit for the 2016/17 Sky Bet Championship season.

The new agreement will ensure that the Hodge Clemco branding is once again emblazoned across Rotherham United’s home shirt for at least the next two seasons, with the news following confirmation that Puma Teamwear have also extended their agreement at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Commercial Director Steve Coakley expressed his delight upon completion of another major sponsorship deal for the club and says he is looking forward to building on the existing relationship with the company.

“We’re already enjoying a successful first year working alongside Hodge Clemco and I am thrilled that we are extending for a further two years, also on improved financial terms for the Club.” he enthused.

“This is just one of a number of partnerships that we are working on and are absolutely delighted that we were able to formalise this even though we are only 12 league games into the initial one year term, it is very positive news for the commercial wing of the club.

“Even in such a short space of time we've developed an absolutely fabulous relationship with the colleagues at Hodge Clemco. Thankfully they've really become a part of the family 'all inclusive' culture we have and we are thrilled to have them on board for the foreseeable future”

Neal Crisford, Group MD for Hodge Clemco Ltd, was equally pleased to conclude the deal citing the opportunity to give something back to the local community as one of their many motivations to extend the agreement.

“After initially agreeing to a one year involvement, both myself, Paul and the staff at Hodge Clemco have really enjoyed the experience and embraced all aspects of being involved with Rotherham United,” he explained.

“We’ve been proud to see our branding on the Millers’ shirts on matchdays and it is a great opportunity to put something back into the football club which the people of the area support so magnificently.

“As a result of that, it was the clear and obvious thing to do to continue for another two years and we’re delighted to be part of operations going forward at AESSEAL New York Stadium.”
