Rotherham United are delighted to team up with charity Crisis Skyline South Yorkshire, who will be using the AESSEAL New York Stadium from this Wednesday.
Crisis Skylight South Yorkshire is an outreach service for homeless and vulnerably housed people delivering courses and activities within hostels and day centres in partner organisations, and within local community venues.
Each year the charity host an employment week, where the company focus is on all matters around getting their members into employment. This year Crisis Skyline South Yorkshire have joined forces with Wilmott Dixon, a local building company, who have agreed to help with a day in Rotherham looking at opportunities in the building sector.
From this Wednesday, Rotherham United have agreed to support the event which will see a fully functioning van manned by members of the Crisis Skyline team, providing help and guidance whilst offering the opportunity to chat with existing construction workers about pathways into work, and find out how a Crisis Work and Learning Coach can help.
