ROTHERHAM UNITED EDUCATION ACADEMY
At Rotherham United Community Sports Trust our Education Academy delivers a number of high quality sports courses in Further and Higher Education. We pride ourselves on excellence by ensuring that all of our teachers are fully qualified and provide learners with the latest resources and technology, in order to enhance learning. Our brand new state of the art facility, ‘The Goal Zone’ is situated within The New York Stadium and boasts 3 classrooms, an office and a health space, which provides alternative methods to fitness testing. Our practical space is located at Parkgate Astro and consists of 3 3G pitches which are used for the training and coaching elements of our programmes.~

Our alternative education provisions include a wide variety of programmes to enhance Primary and Secondary students across a number of courses. We currently offer the chance for learners form year 1 – 11 to be involved in bespoke packages to enhance individual learning across a range of different subject areas. We use the power of sport to help engage any young person struggling to achieve within mainstream education. Our Job Club provides learners aged 18+ with the opportunity to enhance their CV and personal statement writing, whilst expanding their capability to job search in a safe and welcoming environment.
All of our programmes are delivered by qualified, enthusiastic and experienced members of staff. We have state of the art facilities at our disposal due to our successful partnership with the RNN Group and the English Football League. All of our students are given the chance to work alongside staff members at the Community Sports Trust, in order to enhance work experience opportunities.
Studying sport at the Rotherham United Community Sports Trust offers you the opportunity to complete a wide range of sport, fitness, health and nutritional modules, with the opportunity to apply the knowledge you acquire to the working environment.
