Rotherham United’s Honorary Ambassador Howard Webb will be attending a special book signing for his autobiography: The Man in the Middle at AESSEAL New York Stadium next month.
The avid Millers’ supporter and World Cup Final referee will be at the Red and White Shop between 9:30am and 11:00am on Saturday 17th December to personalise copies of his highly-rated account of being a full-time football official.
Howard’s visit precedes Rotherham United’s South Yorkshire derby with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough, so why not pop down before you travel to S6 and get his thoughts on the big game?
Commercial Director Steve Coakley was delighted to confirm the hosting of Howard at the club’s stadium.
“Following on from the successful Rotherham United Business Club meeting which Howard kindly attended, we are now delighted to pencil in a day for him to come and sign copies of his book,” he enthused.
“Howard has accepted our invitation to join us at AESSEAL New York Stadium where he is greatly admired, and we are looking forward to catching up with one of the club’s most famous names.”
The long-awaited autobiography is available to purchase now from the Red and White Shop and tells the story of Howard’s rise from his days as a policeman through to officiating some of the most high-profile matches in world football.
