Lee Frecklington lands the Community Player of the Year...
The Rotherham United Community Player of the Year Award was presented to Lee Frecklington at the club’s Purpose Media End of Season Awards Night. The popular midfielder has been active both on the pitch and off it in the 2015/16 campaign and has played a pivotal role in the club’s community work throughout the campaign.
Frecklington, who joined the Millers in League Two and has tasted successive promotions with the club, has been a regular visitor to schools and charities in the borough and Head of Community Jamie Noble has been delighted with his contribution.
“Lee is always the first to give his time up for the people of Rotherham, and is as loved off the pitch as he is on it by the fans,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.
“He is a credit to this club and a credit to the town."
