Rotherham United’s under 15s are in action this evening as they take on Liverpool at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
The Academy are giving the next generation the opportunity to showcase their skills at the AESSEAL New York Stadium, with the under 14s taking on Middlesbrough last night.
“It’s great to have another high profile opposition coming to the AESSEAL New York Stadium and it will be another tough test for our youngsters,” Head of Academy Coaching Matt Hamshaw told www.themillers.co.uk
“Playing against teams like Liverpool has been a challenge the Academy players have relished in previous experiences and I am sure tonight’s game will be no different.
"It’s always nice to play against top category teams and allow the players to experience the first team setup down here at the stadium."
Fans are being encouraged to come and support the Academy, with kick off tonight at 6.30pm.
Matt added:
“It would be great to see Millers fans come down and support the young players because backing is really appreciated by everyone in the Academy.”
Tomorrow (Wednesday) will see a mixed under 12 and 13 age group take on Manchester United.
