Neil Warnock talks to www.themillers.co.uk...
Manager Neil Warnock is relishing the prospect of his first South Yorkshire derby as manager of Rotherham United.
Warnock leads his side to Hillsborough to face high-flying Sheffield Wednesday looking to build on his first win as Millers boss against Brentford last weekend.
The former Sheffield United boss is no stranger to the lively atmosphere of S6, and is looking forward to returning to the away dugout on Saturday.
“It is a great stadium which generates a fantastic atmosphere, and I know I will probably get some stick due to my time across the City,” Warnock told www.themillers.co.uk
“I am really looking forward to it because I know it will be a special atmosphere.
“Credit to them, they have a good manager and he has put together the best team that they have had for many years.”
As the Championship season approaches the business end, both sides will be looking for maximum points for differing reasons.
Warnock admits that there will be pressure on both sides but has backed his troops to rise to the occasion.
“There is pressure on everybody, the teams we have coming up will have the pressure of trying to get into the top two or the Play-offs, and we are fighting for our lives,” he added.
“There are different types of pressure but all we can do is ask the lads to give the best they have got, fight for everything and give them the confidence they can get the result.”
