Intrepid Rotherham United supporter Paul Truin is calling on his fellow fans to help raise funds for the Ride to Amsterdam in 2016 in aid of Prostate Cancer.

Truin, along with fellow Miller Trevor Price, will complete the gruelling task of cycling from Barnsley’s Oakwell stadium to the Dutch capital.

During the recent game against Brentford Paul canvassed support for his epic journey by walking the perimeter of the AESSEAL New York Stadium in front of the Rotherham United faithful to raise awareness ahead of the cycling pilgrimage.

One keen onlooker was Millers defender Lloyd Doyley who stopped Paul in his tracks to learn more about his upcoming voyage.

“Hats off to both Paul and Trevor for undertaking this mammoth task, everyone at the club is right behind them,” Lloyd exclaimed.

“Men United is an official charity of the Football League and it is great to see two of our fans helping raise funds on behalf of Rotherham United.”
