Rotherham United were delighted to spring a surprise on supporter Nigel Waller at the recent home game against Sunderland.
Nigel, who has followed the Millers home and away, hasn’t been feeling 100% recently, so the club, along with Eric Twigg Foods, decided to add something a little extra to his matchday experience as part of our Random act of Kindness matchday initiative.
Before the game against Sunderland, Matt Twigg, of Eric Twigg Foods, arranged a special delivery of complimentary pre-match pies for Nigel and his friends.
The pre-match snacks were handed over to Nigel by our very own new Millers’ signing Will Vaulks and fellow midfielder Joe Newell.
We hope we added a little something extra to Nigel’s matchday experience, and we look forward to seeing him at the first home game of the season against Wolves on August 6th.
