Alan Stubbs talks to www.themillers.co.uk...

Rotherham United manager Alan Stubbs is expecting Danny Ward and Joe Mattock to be back in full training tomorrow.

The duo have been nursing minor muscle soreness, with the Millers boss airing on the side of caution as he rested them for yesterday’s victory over Miedz Legnica.

With the squad having some down time today, Stubbs will be looking to both to join in with tomorrow’s session and potentially play a part in the game with Gornik Zabrze on Friday.

“Tomorrow we’ll have players who didn’t get as many minutes on Tuesday do extra training, we’ll still look to do the session that we had planned before we came,” Stubbs told www.themillers.co.uk

“We’ll have a few more back involved tomorrow. I’m pretty sure we will have Danny Ward back involved, Joe Mattock will be back in and Frecks will be in there as well, so in terms of getting numbers together we are closer to where we wanted it.

“We will look to mix the groups up. We’ll have one group on the grass, one in the gym and a group doing core work or in the pool. We will do some more tactical work with the group in the afternoon.”

The Millers take on Gornik in their third friendly at 6pm Polish time at the club training headquarters at Hotel Remes.
