Rotherham United have agreed a partnership with Embark Group who will become the club’s exclusive back of shorts sponsor for the 2016/17 season.
Embark Group, who are a financial services group and own a range of companies including last season’s back of shorts sponsor Hornbuckle, will have their name emblazoned on the reverse of the shorts of all three of the Millers’ strips throughout the upcoming season.
Commercial Director Steve Coakley was delighted to shake hands on the deal that sees the continued relationship between Phil Smith and the staff at the London-based company, and is looking forward to working alongside them again 2016/17 campaign.
“I am thrilled that we will be able to continue working with Phil and the team after a very successful season under the Hornbuckle name last year,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.
“This relationship has now progressed to Embark Group who look after Hornbuckle amongst a host of other businesses and I think this is a testament to how beneficial the working relationship has been to both parties.”
Phil Smith, who is a Group CEO at Embark, was on hand at AESSEAL New York Stadium to renew the deal and was equally pleased to be continuing the partnership.
“We were so delighted with last season’s sponsorship under the Hornbuckle name, that we have progressed that up the ladder to cover all group companies using the Embark Group title,” he explained.
“We see great commercial value in partnering our brand with the Club and are very much looking forward to another campaign of working alongside Rotherham United.”
