Millers Abroad - Graham Flint

12 July 2016

Our next Miller abroad is Graham Flint, from Cyprus...

Rotherham United fans cover the world far and wide and we always enjoy hearing from those Millers that have found themselves in other parts of the globe.

The next Miller to get in touch with us is Graham Flint.

Graham now resides in Cyprus. Are you a Miller abroad?

Graham answered a few questions to recall some fond Millers memories:

1. When did you become a fan of Rotherham United FC?
I became a fan of RUFC in 1950. I attended most matches with my older brother.

2. How do you follow the club?
I follow the club on the website and Twitter and watch all goals on Youtube.

3. Do you ever have the opportunity to attend matches?
No as I live in Cyprus and have done for the last 8 years and unfortunately do not go back to the UK.

4. Have you always been a fan of the club from abroad?
No.

5. What are your greatest memories of Rotherham United FC?
My greatest memory is more of an achievement.

I worked in the Rotherham United Centre of Excellence for a number of years under a legend and friend John Breckin.

I was responsible for recruiting Chris Sedgwick when he was 12 years old. I was later responsible for signing Chris on School Boy forms at the age of 14 on behalf of RUFC.

Another great memory was the RUFC v Shrewsbury at Wembley 1996. What a brilliant day and a great win.

Graham:
“Congratulations to RUFC on their new fantastic stadium and good luck 2016/2017.”
