Here is this week's Sky Bet Championship betting preview...

Burnley
Burnley will continue their push for promotion at Turf Moor against Derby on Monday and the hosts can be backed at 6/4 with Sky Bet. The Clarets have won three matches on the bounce now, scored over two goals on each occasion and are 15/8 to score a brace or more on this occasion. Derby have drawn two and lost two of their last four starts in the Championship and can be backed at 19/10 for three points with Sky Bet. The stalemate is 11/5 – their two draws were 1-1 and 2-2 and a repeat of either of those scorelines has been priced up at 9/2 and 16/1 respectively.

Derby County
Derby have managed just one won in five starts and that came on the road at Hartlepool in the FA Cup. The Rams are 19/10 with Sky Bet to get back to winning ways in the Championship having dropped out of the automatic promotion places. Burnley are on offer at 6/4 with the draw 11/5. Tom Ince has eight goals in the league this season and he is a 7/1 chance to open the scoring and 5/2 in the anytime market.

Ipswich Town
Ipswich are unbeaten in five in the league but last weekend’s draw with Preston saw them drop out of the play-off places. The Tractor Boys are 13/8 at Sky Bet to regain the winning thread at Birmingham with the hosts 17/10 and a draw trading at 11/5. The two met back in September and that ended 1-1 – a repeat of that is 9/2 while top scorer Daryl Murphy was on target against Preston and is 6/1 to open the scoring and 9/4 to find the net at some stage.

Nottingham Forest
Forest extended their unbeaten run to 11 games in all competitions with a 3-0 victory over Bolton and they are 5/1 with Sky Bet to beat league leaders Middlesbrough at the Riverside. Boro are the shortest-priced team on the coupon this weekend at odds-on 8/13 as they bid to bounce back from a first league defeat since early November. Five of Forest’s last nine fixtures have ended in a 1-1 draw – that scoreline is 11/2 with any draw trading at 13/5.

Rotherham United
Rotherham’s good recent run at home came to end against QPR as they look to improve their away form on the long trip to Cardiff. The visitors travel to South Wales in search of their third win on the road this campaign and are 3/1 at Sky Bet to collect three points as they look to increase the margin between themselves and the drop zone. Cardiff can be backed at 10/11 with a draw 12/5 as the hosts look to build on a 3-1 success last week at Wolves.

Wolves
Wolves have won four of their last five in the Sky Bet Championship as they try to get back on track at QPR following a 3-1 home defeat to Cardiff. The visitors can be backed with Sky Bet at 23/10 with Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink’s side on offer at 13/10. QPR have drawn five of their last eight games in the league and another stalemate is 21/10. Three of those outcomes have been 1-1 and that result can be backed at 9/2.
