Neil Redfearn talks to www.themillers.co.uk...

Rotherham United manager Neil Redfearn hasn’t ruled out doing some transfer business ahead of tonight’s deadline.

The window slams shut at 11pm this evening with clubs up and down the land frantically looking to tie up any last minute deals.

Whilst Redfearn admitted he was content with the signings made so far, he hasn’t ruled out strengthening the Millers’ engine room.

“We have done quite a lot of our work already to be fair, but we are still looking at the central midfield area,” Redfearn told www.themillers.co.uk

“We are still a little bit light in the area. With Frecks being out injured we only really have Paul Green and Richie Smallwood in there, so if we are going to look to bring someone in then we will look to strengthen in that area.

“There are one or two players in my mind but we are probably looking at someone in a loan situation. We have one or two who we have looked at.”

Redfearn has already been active during January bolstering his ranks with the signings of Shay Facey, Aïmen Belaïd, Chris Burke, Andrew Shinnie, Alex Cairns, Luciano Becchio and Chris Dawson as he looks to add depth to his squad.
