The January nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month Award are:

Steve Bruce (Hull City)
A perfect month on Humberside as he steered Hull to top spot in the Championship with 11 goals and 12 points from four games. As important as two comfortable home wins were the gritty wins he inspired at QPR and Fulham.

Sean Dyche (Burnley)
Earned due reward for holding his nerve during a tricky late autumn to guide his side through a free-flowing month. Dyche’s men re-ignited their promotion charge with 10 points and 12 goals from four games as they went third.

Dougie Freedman (Nottingham Forest)
Ignored injuries to key players to lead Forest calmly through a second successive unbeaten month as they climbed the Championship table. A haul of nine points from five games included a thrilling victory away at leaders Middlesbrough.

Gary Rowett (Birmingham City)
The patient football he preaches made light work of a difficult-looking January fixture list, garnering 11 points from five games. Successive 3-0 victories over promotion rivals Derby County and Ipswich Town propelled his side into the Play-Off places.

The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.
