Interim boss Paul Warne would like to wish all Rotherham United fans a very Merry Christmas on behalf of the players, staff and everyone at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

As well as his wishes of goodwill to supporters over the festive period, Warney has called upon the fans to get themselves down to the clashes with Wigan Athletic and Burton Albion and the popular fitness coach has even suggested that those that opt to attend will be entitled to some guilt-free calories.

“I just want to say, come to the games and enjoy yourself,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.

“Please come and cheer the lads on, we need your support and it’s crucial at home. We’re better with you, so come and shout and scream and enjoy yourself.

“Make sure you wear red because it’s crucial. You can come as a Santa but probably better would be a Rotherham United fan.

“Then you can all go home and I’ll let you have some extra calories and you won’t be responsible for them, you can have them free on me because we’ve won a game of football,” Warney joked.

“Enjoy yourselves, bring your family and friends and have a great day."
