The Millers sign Darnell Fisher...
Rotherham United can confirm the signing of defender Darnell Fisher for an undisclosed fee from Celtic, subject to EFL, FA and International clearance.
The full-back has successfully passed a medical and has agreed a three-year deal at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
The Reading-born operator is the second player to join the Millers from the Scottish giants in recent weeks following the arrival of Scott Allan.
Primarily a right back, Fisher began his career in the English non-league with Farnborough Town before earning a big move to Celtic in 2013.
After making his debut in October 2013, he would go on to make 13 appearances in his first season at Parkhead, earning him a Scottish Championship medal.
After finding opportunities limited in his second season, he took the opportunity of a loan move to St. Johnstone last season making 23 appearances, scoring once in a 3-0 away victory at Hearts.
Now he moves back to England to sign for the Millers in time for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Aston Villa this Saturday.
A full interview with Darnell will be available on Millers Player HD shortly.
