Rotherham United manager Alan Stubbs remains confident of adding to his squad before tonight’s 11pm deadline.The Millers continue to make calls behind the scenes as Stubbs aims to bolster his ranks before the window slams shut in just over fours hours time.
Stubbs, who has made 11 signings during the window, confirmed he is looking at a number of options as he looks to add more faces to his squad.
“We are still very active behind the scenes and we will be right to the wire,” Stubbs told www.themillers.co.uk
“There are a few avenues we are looking at, covering a few positions and we are still waiting on news on some of those.
“My phone will still be glued to my ear for the next few hours, as it has been all day, and we will continue to work hard to bring players into the club.”
Earlier, midfielder Richie Smallwood joined League One side Scunthorpe United on a loan deal until the end of the season.
