Read up on Scott Allan's career so far...
Glasgow-born playmaker Scott Allan arrives in South Yorkshire having earned his place as a current Scottish Premier League Champion with Celtic in 2015/16.The midfielder is a product of the Dundee United academy which he joined in 2001, before progressing through the ranks to make his senior debut for Forfar during a loan stint.
His professional bow at Tannadice Park followed shortly after and his form for the Tangerines would earn him a move to England and West Bromwich Albion in 2012.
Allan would not go on to feature for the Baggies but enjoyed loan switches to Portsmouth (twice) among stints with Milton Keynes Dons and Birmingham City.
His release from the Midlands-club prompted then Hibs boss Alan Stubbs to swoop for his services, taking him back to his native Scotland.
He thrived under the tutelage of the Millers’ boss and shone in the second tier of Scottish football, earning himself the Scottish Championship PFA Player of the Year for 2015.
His contribution in Glasgow saw Celtic sign the one-time Scotland Under 21 on a four-year deal and he has made 12 competitive appearances for the Bhoys since penning his deal.
