A set of twins are undertaking the '92 in 92 challenge' and hope to raise more than £2,500 for charity and their local football club.

Stuart & Chris Daynes, 41, will be visiting all 92 Football League & Premiership grounds in the space of 92 hours - a distance of approximately 2,500 miles - for Crohn’s & Colitis UK and Felixstowe & Walton United FC and will be calling at The AESSEAL New York Stadium at approximately 6am on Friday 22nd April- 84 hours into their trip!

Chris has suffered with the debilitating Crohn’s Disease for 25 years and is currently undergoing intensive treatment at the Royal London Hospital, making the marathon trip even more of a challenge.

Chris Daynes said: “Crohn’s & Colitis UK do such a good job in raising awareness of the illnesses,  supporting sufferers and funding research. The Football Club is at the heart of the community in Felixstowe and deserves to have facilities that are fit for purpose to enable them to continue to provide sporting opportunities for present and future generations in the area”.

“We want to raise money so people can continue to benefit from both causes.”

The Daynes twins hope to raise £2,500 - £1 for every mile they will cover during the challenge and a Paypal donation button for sponsorship has been added to the felixstowefootball.co.uk website.

You can follow their progress on Facebook by “Liking” their page- 92 grounds in 92 hours.
