Danny Ward speaks to www.themillers.co.uk...

Rotherham United forward Danny Ward believes his side have no reason to fear the drop if they continue in their current vein of form which has seen them go 10 games unbeaten in the Sky Bet Championship.

The former Huddersfield Town attacker insists that if the Millers are able to maintain their fine string of performances they needn’t fear relegation from the second tier.

“If we keep playing like we have been doing then there will be nothing to worry about because we look unstoppable at the moment,” Ward told www.themillers.co.uk.

The Millers boosted their survival hopes with a welcome away victory over MK Dons before adding vital points against Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield Town and Ward is keen to ensure his side add fuel to their climb up the table as the season nears its end.

“At this moment in time it’s just about doing as much as I can for the team and making sure we get three points every week,” he explained.

“We seem to be doing that and if it isn’t broken, you don’t fix it and it’s really good to be a part of.”

Ward’s progress was hindered by the recurrence of a back problem that flared up prior to the game at Portman Road but took time to commend the efforts of Leon Best who has stepped into the forward line in recent weeks.

“I had the back spasm against Ipswich which didn’t help but Besty has come in and done a great job so I can’t be shouting and screaming about not playing because he’s doing well and banging the goals in.
