Youngsters were given prizes for their services in the community including signed footballs and shirts, with the awards taking place in the lounge at the Millers’ home.
Chief Operating Officer Paul Douglas and Head of Community Jamie Noble were both also in attendance to see Rotherham United stars Smallwood and Ward dish out the awards.
Councillor Ken Wyatt was another of the faces amongst the crowd that witnessed youngsters receiving recognition for their contribution to the local community on what proved to be another successful evening at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
Head of Community Jamie Noble was delighted with the outcome of the awards ceremony and took time to thank Richie and Grant for their attendance.
"It's really pleasing to see these youngsters get the credit for the work they are doing for the local community and Rotherham United," he beamed.
"They really appreciate the opportunity to meet our first team players and I'd like to thank the two lads that joined us for taking time out, because it really does make a difference."
